Nicholas Perez

Nicholas grew up in Fresno, CA, where he graduated with a business administration degree – accounting at California State University, Fresno in 2018. Shortly after, he moved to San Jose to start a career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the assurance practice. During his tenure, he has worked primarily in the biotechnology industry, servicing clients around the Bay Area. He has worked with clients that went through initial public offerings to small and medium cap corporations listed on the Stock Exchange. Nick serviced companies filing S-1, S-3, 10-Q, and 10-K. Areas of audit that he has worked in include inventory (including the cost of sales), fixed assets, payroll, accounts payable, period-end financial reporting, journal entry testing, stock-based compensation, capital & equity, operating expenses, and taxes. He currently practices assurance as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
In his spare time, he enjoys working out at his home gym and woodworking. At the gym, he does many styles of working out ranging from CrossFit to Peloton to bodybuilding. For woodwork, one of his favorite accomplishments was building a jump box with various heights out of wood that he uses for workouts. Nick also spends time with his beautiful wife and two children (dogs), going on walks and hikes around California. Although not in California, one of the most beautiful sites explored was the Grand Canyon because of the steep slopes and visible layers of rock over millions of years.
Nick is passionate about being able to provide information to aspiring students, new coming accountants and auditors, and even businessmen and women who want to have a better understanding of their business. He aims to make difficult concepts simple and explain each part of the business in detail that anybody can understand.
